2002

Bunker Tuneage 2002 was the final year of just “Electronica” before “Alternative” was introduced alongside it. I don’t know that the music changed all that much from 2002 to 2003; saying “Alternative” was just a way to broaden the category so I could squeeze more into it.

2002 was also the year of the first official “Ambient-Chill” mix – a new direction (probably in name only) from the “Mellow Tunes” compilations of earlier years.
